Education is my passion, that’s why I’m running for School Board. I’ve spent a lifetime pursing my personal education goals. When I graduated from college, I was a certified teacher. Throughout my Air Force and business careers, I’ve continued my education.
I'm running for School Board because I believe that educating our children is one of our most important goals. In today’s world, it’s also one of our most daunting challenges. I want to put my skills in education, business and budgeting to work for our children and for the citizens of Brentsville and Prince William County.
As an Hispanic businessman, I know that education and fluency in the English language are the keys to the future for everyone, regardless of national origin. In the Prince William County School System, students speak more than 115 different languages and dialects. Reaching out to these students and their families and supporting programs to help them succeed in school and in life are among my major priorities.
